Advent 2011 :: day 23 :: Walk to Christmas Trees
another annual favorite - walking to the Four Seasons (oops, now Park Hyatt) resort to nibble hot chestnuts and view their stunning Christmas tree collection. The sugar mountain in the entrance is as much a favorite with Chris as with the kids, though I myself can't get over the main Christmas tree. Nor can I really believe that this is our fourth year attending, and that we have moved from driving to walking to biking and now to scootering our way there and back again. I'm very thankful for these local attractions, and these simple ways to enjoy the holiday spirit of anticipation.
